I slept in my Honda. I tried to sleep in my lotus (that did not work).I'm 6ft and slept in a Miata once. A 110 is like the Taj.

I know, I know. I already have two, what’s one more 110 …. Who has a 3 door for me? LHD, turn key (as any defender can be), engine with actual power (Tdi, V8). I’d also take a 109 that has an engine swap.Buy another 110.
It’s the only way forward
IMHO, for a camper, I feel the extra doors are both short of convenient and amazing. The access to additional usable room is worth it. Even if built in crap is in the way…. It can still allow access to under it. I’ve even seen doors that open up and provide access and provide a windbreak for a pull out kitchen. Wish a took photos.I know, I know. I actually drove by it today on my way to get a roast pork for lunch at Luigi and Giovani’s (shared with Gary the “shop” cat). But I don’t like RHD. I had no idea it was for sale. I had been stalking it and it’s friend for a while. I almost pulled in to leave a note. I messaged the guy maybe I get a new local rover friend out of it.

The main advantage I see of a three door is that the middle doors and t-pieces and middle crossmember are among the first things to go on a SW and they are spendy.
I probably have everything I need to convert to LHD sitting here (I am sure I have 90% of it anyway), but I don’t have that kind of time …
It’s so close I could walk if I had to.you need a ride, i can take you to pick it up.
When we had the 109 with a pretty tall roof rack had the garage door support modified so door actually went into the garage more and higher. Never knew about it until my neighbor told me about it as he had a tall vehicle as well. Might be something to look into.I rub my roof of the truck against the weather stripping of my garage when I pull in.... any height would kill me as I have to keep it garaged for insurance. So I would need to install air bag suspension... oh darn....
Thx. We hated to sell it as well. It was an awesome truck and we drove it all over. The pic is from trip to PEI. However was transferred to Switzerland and couldn’t get it registered there. Body was all 109 yet on Defender drivetrain with V8, LT230. Swiss folks said NEIN! When we moved to Brasil stored it for 5 years and it never really ran right afterwards. So this time sold it and redid the ‘94 LWB Rangie which we took over with us. And still have.Such a sweet truck, friggin never would want to sell it. My weatherstripping is on the jam, then brick facade done nicely. I’d need to move header and change too much.
