I would say about right, if anything just a tiny bit small.
I would swear my foot size is 8.5R
My boots FWIW
Chippewa size 8
Belleville size 8
Palladium size 8
Good boots, not perfect QC, I've had a pair last 1 year under daily stupid hard duty under every condition you can think of before the widest edges abraded through the top canvas (still got them around for yard work). And the next new pair (same exact model/configuration) go about a month of vacation time before one of the heel cup seams started ripping... Whatever rubber compound they use is great, hard wearing. Canvas good, comfort good, no lighter boot other than perhaps the minimils. For the price can't beat em.
