Painless Wiring 30815 Headlight wiring upgrade harness

$65 shipped.

Harness is used, was pulled off a RRC that died (head gasket), as it comes back to life the truck will see a different life and thus this is just extra wires. Harness is likely a decade old and a lot of the electrical tape/splices on the wires look crusty. If I were keeping it I'd pull the coverings off and confirm/deny everything and replace electrical tape with shrink wrap.

Here's the harness: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006HJP2...TF8&colid=17PDT556WS7HP&coliid=I1QRNSX8JDIVEG

Similar to the ARB/IPF loom (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004LQHHI...TF8&colid=17PDT556WS7HP&coliid=I13440JLJPKHII)

For those that haven't seen/used it this replaces your headlight connections and pulls power directly off the battery (uses one of the headlight plugs to trigger the relays).

How timely.... I need one of these and I was going to start piecing a kit together.
Relays look like the weather proof type.

I'll take it if just needs a little fresh e-tape and/or shrinky wrap.

Relays are solid and def weatherproof type; connectors are all in good shape. If I were keeping it I'd peel the electrical tape off to check all the wiring but the basics of the harness are solid.

Sounds good--- make it mine!

So it has Twin Mountain heritage?

.

It was living at Twin Mtn and was part of stripping out that RRC we just threw a RPi 3.9 into (the 4.2 had a hole in the block). To sweeten the deal, not only does it have Twin Mtn heritage but it was out of a truck serviced by Treasured Motorcars-so it may well have Trevor G fingers laid upon it too once upon a time (or as John put it "there's one of those harnesses he loves...").

Hit me on my gmail (ray.gerber(at)gmail.com) w/paypal and kick me your addy, will get it on the way.

PP$ sent

Back 7 or 8 years ago Trevor pieced together a headlight harness for me for one one of the classics (both utilize them)

Classics, like Defenders must have a headlight harness to keep the power out of the switch.

This harness will go in the new project ---

I'll PM you shipping address

Sold, should ship out tomorrow.
Coyote has the ARB/IPF loom-it's a good piece of gear. If our trail truck wasn't going LED (just b/c), it probably would have stayed on her...but let's start with getting it to do more than turnover first.

If I were single, I can tell you where I'd be-in a very apolitical way. If the other half was in the country, I can tell you where she'd be too.

Since neither of those things is true, I instead focused on getting the 3.9RPi motor to work in the RRC we're building for trails up here. It lives, thus life is good.

Enjoy the Region 2 stickers!

Yes, that would actually be good idea for the single guy.... odds would definitely be skewed in our favor.

I, too, spent the day over a Rover V8. The new-to-me GEMS 4.0 version(which I know very little about).
This relay will be going on this project.

GEMS is def a bit modern for you isn't it? In truth I prefer that engine management-esp after spending the past two weekends putting in a 14 CUX and more importantly dealing with troubleshooting setting the timing with the dizzy and such. That said, it lives...and subsequently was put on the lift for a lift/tires/etc....

As you can see, it is a little modified already. Going to be a trail building work truck.

Obviously you did not see any of these bulldikes on TV. Looked like something from the state fair.

In truth I didn't see any of it on TV; since I don't watch it-but I have no doubt it was swimming with some butch.

Everybody's gotta eat though.
