This has probably been asked before and most responses seem to favor using the Madman system.
I'm looking to add an oil pressure and oil temp sender to my 97 Defender 300tdi SW but keep the existing oil pressure alert on the dash. I have converted to VDO gauges and want to add new VDO gauges so a MadMan is not going to work. I found this adapter that seems like it would work:

Would it make more sense to add the oil pressure or oil temp sender to the adapter? Where would the other sender be best located -- does the 300Tdi engine have plugs for the oil temp or pressure senders already available?
