OG seats/fabric?

(Apologies if this is in the wrong spot)

Trying in vain to find a US vendor that sells a version of the original standard fabric seats either in the browns or greys shown below - i.e non 'techno', 'denim' or 'black' etc that you can get from Exmoor.

Does anyone even reproduce these? Willing to purchase a whole seat set and benches for a 90, but are there even covers available or am I going to have to be an ebay sniper on chance that someone pulls a decent set out of a 90 for a new fancy heated electric diamond leather setup. 🥴

Let me know if you have a decent set or where I might even go to find some!

Looks like you have Moorland Grey? It appears they might still be available as genuine covers, squabs, and seat assemblies. The part numbers are in the seating diagrams.

Gen Moorland fabric has been nla for some time. ExMoor's repro is close but not the same.
It would be possible to glean a decent complete set by buying up pieces on ebay.
Post wanted adverts.
If a seat is let go so that the foam splits and disintegrates, the metal frame will tear thru the fabric.
Whatever you find will be 25-30 years old to start. By 1997, Rover quit using Moorland.

Always liked cloth seats so I went ahead and checked a few part numbers in JLR classic's system, and as pfshoen said they're all NLA, despite what some vendors show. Seems like Techno is the only traditional fabric option available.

I would have those cleaned and new cushions installed. I bet they'd spruce up nicely.

Unfortunately those shown aren't mine - I'm rocking some original, but starting to split original black vinyl - looks ok but not great in the hot summers!

This is what I was afraid of - Appreciate all the insights.

Now to find a set!

I have denim and my biggest complaint is sweating. I’d go to cloth but seem to recall it didn’t really alleviate that (it’s been 18 years since I rocked cloth). Probably the non breathable foam. Do you cloth folks in warmer climates still have Wet-Back-Syndrom

Sheepskins keep you cooler in summer and warmer in winter. They also otherwise improve comfort level, and imho beat anything, including cloth and "rich Corinthian leather." The bonus plan is that the oem upholstery beneath doesn't really wear. No one uses sheeps for competition, but drivers wear Nomex suits and expect to be soaked by the checker anyway. Traction between the posterior and the seat trumps comfort at the limit.
Most Defs and all Series came with vinyl, if you include "Denim." Techno is woven, but doesn't look like it's any more comfortable.
Gettin' sweaty is all part of the Land Rover Experience, like hands dirty. Lol. Gloves can help a lot, but even with sheeps, sometimes there's no way around the wet t-shirt (not the good kind).
Not saying I can't get enough, because a little goes a long way, but it's what a person buys into when they buy/drive a Def. The burgeoning market for upscale Def luxo conversions appears to have not gotten the memo. More Kool-Aid anyone?

FWIW, I think the inexpensive Britpart retrim kits are coming from the OEM because I couldn't find any difference between old and new.

Exmoor has a black mesh option that's very breathable.
