Hi. I had a Superwinch X9 on my 93 RRC with an ARB front. Loved the Superwinch... now have the same style front ARB bumper on my D90, 300 tdi. Would this fit an ARB bumper?
I remember the X9 had to be opened up and turned 90 deg to attach.

Hi, Ozzie - thanks for reaching out. I did some google research and see on the Toyota threads (4Runner and Land Cruiser) that modification of an ARB is necessary. One person posted: "Husky will not fit any ARB." A generalization, perhaps, but confirms my gut... in 30 years of Rovering, I don't recall seeing such a combo. Having said that, there is a thread of someone who fabricated the install. S/he describes a process that sounds a lot like what you describe above having to do to fit you X9.
