Not sure that's a new product really. I bought a truck with the older style KAM electric lockers a year or so ago and the drop in locker was available then. I heard that KAM was bought by somebody, maybe that will yield better customer service...

I remember these from a few years ago. Seemed like back then they were poorly made and wouldn't hold up well.

If that story has changed, I'd be interested in one for my front axle.

I probably would too but not having to put in air lines is a plus for some people. If you guys want any other scans of the new catalog lmk.

Getting real tired of the unintended "rear steer" feature of my Detroit Locker.
It's been in place for over 10 years, works great off road.
But on the D90, with it's short wheel base, I'm always having to stay on top of my driving compensation skills especially in hilly highway terrain.

I've never experienced the same problem you describe but I have on slippery hillsides. I've got about 120K miles on my set-up from GBR. 411's w/TT in the front and Detroit in the rear. Once I was showing off with some friends on a road with about a foot of fresh snow. We were probably doing 50mph and all of a sudden I was doing a donut and had no control. Purely my fault and don't blame the locker.
