At first glance the shifter and front end offends me.

Good thing I am not their market and not their socioeconomic target. I would spend $70K on something better suited to my needs. And if I had $70K to blow on something, it would not be that.

My little DD (for now) has a shifter in that spot to. Its actually perfectly positioned and comes in handy as a spot to rest my hand. Same with the Sprinter, transit and minivans..... Another plus, you get to make use of all the center console.

I get it and can see how it would be a good thing. I just would have liked to see something a bit more old school, truck like, call it whatever. My 2015 T4R Trail is old school with even a mechanical shifter for the t-case, not the electric dial all the SR5's and up got, and I like it a lot. TBH when they announce the new T4R I may buy a new last year 5th Gen so I wont have to buy another for 10-15 maybe 20 years - unfortunately I dont think they do the shifter for the t-case anymore.

Ha! The front end looks sleepy or bored. 67FFAAC0-A710-4DFF-ACB4-28874236BFE8.jpeg
