Mistry fluid Leak

I know that chasing fluid leaks on an old Defender can be a fools errand but it's worth a shot.
This is a right-hand drive 300 tdi 1996 Defender 90.
I replaced the intercooler about two years back and put in new coolant. I checked recently and the coolant was low... bit of a puddle on the Turbo side (right side) kind of under the heater. Topped up the expansion tank again with Valoline Zerex G05 (greenish color).
The "drip" ends up falling from where the Engine touches the clutch/gearbox thing (sorry, have not got into that part of Defender maintenance yet thankfully).
It looks a bit wet under the turbo and the starter motor. Top of the top of the starter motor is dry, same for the coolant lines on front and back of the valve cover area. No leaks around the heater box that I can see.
The fluid looks green (windshield washer was a mix of red for winter and blue for summer).
I have got most of the Yorkshire mud off but as you can see there is still some around where the fluid may be coming from.
It's odd because there does not seem to be a coolant line near that side of the engine that would be leaking?
There is a little weeping around the p-gasket but I can see where that falls and it's to the front of the truck.
I don't have a pressure tester and I don't feel like tasting it to see if it's actually coolant.

Looks a bit down here in this picture but this is after a few days of scrubbing and cleaning (could be mixed with dirt now)

Unless your oil was just changed it has to be coolant, or washer fluid but that seems unlikely. It could be coming from nearly anywhere above. What drips straight down when parked will migrate down and rearward when driving, so it's most important to focus on finding the most high forward leak first. Address that, clean everything so you can see any new leaks, and inspect every day for changes.

I agree. If it is coolant, I would image it would be more then the engine is hot? I am going to pressure wash again (third time) and try and get that side clean. I can see some stains on the exhaust pipe so perhaps some is evaporating when the exhaust is hot.

Try hitting the dirty areas with engine or oven cleaner before washing it. Makes the washer much more effective.

Oh, yes. I started with soap and hot water and some brushes. What a mess. Then moved onto my power washer from above and under. Then I used a foaming Engine cleaner (soap and wash again) then a spray engine cleaner (like a carb cleaner) then more simple green and brushing and washing. I may try the self-wash station today as they may have more force then may home power washer.

dye the cooling system. NAPA #400587 and a UV flashlight. home depot/harbor freight have a few options. Clean that area and run the truck with the dye in it. get the flashlight out and take a good look around.
