Mechanical Speedo w/ 1 piece cable & clamp

I bought this new Feb of 2016. A local shop set the odometer to the correct reading for my truck and it has approx 600 miles since new. It has zero damage, issues and worked when removed this morning for a VDO swap. I'm including the one piece speedo cable and the clamp to attach it to the xfer case.

Do you happen to know if this would work for a LHD 1988 90 TD? I'm getting tired of using an iPhone app for a speedometer.
