Mantec tire carrier measurement help

I wasn’t able to find anything in the search or on line about this. I’ve delayed the install far too long. My NAS rear crossmember doesn’t have any of the holes that Row trucks have thus I’ve procrastinated bc I don’t know where to drill the bolt holes for the bottom bracket. I figured I’d ask if someone w/o a swing tire carrier and that has the pre-drilled holes on the rear cross member send me a picture with the measurements? See attached pic. Or is there an easier way for me to figure that out? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Is there anyway to clamp the bracket to the crossmember and then mark the holes? I can measure tomorrow for you as well.

I don’t think I can clamp it…too wide and high due to the step. I was thinking that I could assemble everything loosely, have the bottom bracket dangle and try to mark the holes as straight as possible. My only concern would be if the alignment is off, and once I tighten all the bolts, that it may not open and close smoothly but I’m just hypothesizing. If it’s not too much trouble for any measurements that would be super appreciated. No rush. Thanks for your response! Eddie

Honestly every truck is different. If you need to drill holes, I would mount the upper body bracket and door bracket, and find where you need to drill the holes on the bottom bracket

Thanks Zack! That’s what I’m going to try.
