Recently rebuilt Defender LT230 with 1.2 gearing. New parts include 1.2 gears, Hi/Lo hub and gears, case bolts, seals, and gaskets. Serial number 22D184757D.
Pulled out of my 91 110 with 70,000 miles. The case has about 500 miles since the rebuild. I found a screaming deal on a new Ashcoft R380/LT230 package and replaced this LT230 due to the deal. I’ve found the 1.2 gearing perfect for low elevation driving. The gearing helps my 200TDI 110 cruise at 70mph without issues.
Boxed in an Ashcroft pallet box. Local pick up in northern WA or shipped on buyer’s dime.
