Land Rover Defender 110 LHD

I purchased this 110 a year ago and made it perfect for my family's move to St. Thomas, USVI that was going to happen in December. It turns out that we are not going to be able to move to St. Thomas in the foreseeable future thanks to two separate Cat 5 hurricanes in September. No need to ship the 110 down to the USVI as planned. This well cared for 110 is only driven to car shows and around town from time to time, as I own several vehicles.

In the Fall of 2013 this one owner LHD truck was sourced from Italy for it's second owner who was a soon to be retiring college professor. He personally selected this truck for it's rust free one owner condition and commissioned a total restoration that was complete in early 2014 when he picked up the truck. I purchased the 110 with about 8k miles and it now has 12k miles in total since the 2014 rebuilt. The 110 is configured to seat/seatbelt 9 people as it has a center lockable center cubby box in place of the original center jump seat that allowed for 9 adults plus one very small person in the center front seat.

The recent restoration included:
New Alpine White Body with a Black Roof
Black Diamond Plate trim and Black OEM Wheel Arches
Rebuilt Low Mileage 300 TDI Engine replaced the original but still running 200 Non Turbo Diesel
Rebuilt R380 5 Speed Gear Box replaced the older and less robust LT77 model Gear Box
New Clutch and Slave cylinder
Two New Full Size Spare Tires and Upgraded Bonnet and Rear door Mounting Hardware
Two Fuel Tanks with in excess of 40 Gallons of capacity
Two New Deep Cycle Batteries
New Full Length Black Frontline Roof Rack
Set of Six Satin Black Wolf Steel Wheels
New OEM seat boxes
Set of Six New BF Goodrich A/T Tires
New Gray OEM interior including Exmoor Front seat covers
New 7 VDO OEM Gauges, including new center cluster
New Air Conditioning $5,800 installed price* (in case you were thinking this is $1-2k upgrade)
Enlarged Heater Box Modifications
New Clarion DVD/CD/SAT Radio/SAT NAV Head Unit, speakers and antenna
New Front, Middle and rear OEM LR Defender Floor Mats
New Deluxe Rubber Front Floor Sound Deading System
New OEM Round Tube Push Bar
New Upgraded Front Skid Plate
New Front and Rear Light lens protection grills
New modern bright white headlights and high beam units
Superwinch Talon 9500 (top of the line Superwhich @ $1,600+) Complete with both front and rear power hook ups, mounting hardware, straps, hooks and remote control.

All five doors and the front bonnet were in such good shape that they were all retained rather than being replaced, as is the case when door bottoms are normally rotted. The entire truck frame, front bumper, rear cross member, wheel well/flares and other structural components were not never in an accident as far as can be as and were cleaned thoroughly, primed and painted.

The additional improvements I have made this year are:
Installed Upgraded 100 amp alternator replace stock 60 amp model
New Front OME HD Springs
New OEM Cyclone Oil/Air Separator
New OEM Front Windshield Relay, Wiper Blades and Washer Jets
New OEM Fan Belt Pulley Tensioner
New Automotive grade Fire Extinguisher with optional steel factory bracket.
New OEM Fan Clutch
New OEM Front wheel bearings
Professional Full Waxoyl Treatment
New Stainless Steel Door Bolts
All five doors and the front bonnet have Dyanamat sound deadening material
All maintience is up to date as the engine (valve adjustment and oil), transmission, (oil) transfer case as well as the front and rear differentials have a all been serviced in 2017.

Most important information: EVERYTHING on this truck works as when new and it can be driven over 900 miles before refueling. The 300 TDI has zero electronic gismos to fail and is very easy to learn how to maintain without professional help if that is your plan. Parts are easily obtainable and very reasonably priced. The usual ?you get what you pay for? applies to Land Rover Defender parts as the same part can be offered from several sources of various quality and corresponding price.

This truck resides in a heated garage and is titled in New Jersey where it is exempt from State DMV emissions inspections.
The price is $64k.
