KO2s on a stock 90SW

I'm saving up for some new shoes for the defender. I know there are various conversations about running taller tires then the 265/75/16, but given that the KO2's are more squared off in the transition form the tread to the sidewall, I was hoping for some input. thoughts on 285/75/16?

I run the 235/85/16's E rated (10 ply).
Wide tires do nothing for you except eat your fuel mileage & make more noise.
The only positive reason is if you drive on sand a whole bunch.

Second the 235/85/16, slight rubbing when fully locked but nothing too crazy

Recently looking around for the 235's and could not find any that were new tires. Asked some of my buddies and they said that the 245's are alot more available, just a wee bit taller but nothing that requires mods to your truck.

The BFG KO2 in 245 are NOT taller then the 235. The tallest 245 they make is a 245/75 which is 30.4" a 235/85 is 31.7" and 265/75 is 31.6"

Tire Rack and Discount Tire have the 235's in stock.

Wider tires (to a point) improve handling on the road.

255/85/16 if you want to go taller without going wider. Always liked a 265/75 over 235/85 on a NAS truck
