Here's the scenario: 3.5 Rover V8 engine, Edelbrock 3.51 intake, replaced the water temp gauge with vision vdo. Original sender is no longer working. Called Summit and they said I needed this for the above application: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vdo-323900/overview/
Got the new sender along with the few adapters that were included and the none of the threads match up to work. After comparing the original sender threading and what was provided in the VDO sender package I found this: Original is 15.5mm with an 18 pitch. There were no adapters that matched the original. The closest that was included was 16.5mm with 18 pitch.

Not sure what to do at this point. Figured it should be pretty easy to find appropriate sender or adapters but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'd be interested to hear what everyone has to say or recommend on this topic. The current VDO gauge goes to 250.
