Ive got a few UTO - shipped a nice one out to someone last month...

#2 is tougher to make, but is aesthetic and not required for functionality. The different offsets are easy to make and would benefit from one matched to the actual tyre/wheel combo. The clamp is the hard part but can be worked around with angle iron and some padding.

the only part I have is the main piece, #1. Some of it is available overseas, but quite pricey. I know the rubber pieces can be bought, but hoping to make those out of some old tire or something i find laying around, it's the rest I am uncertain of.

Can you post some shots of one installed?

Is that the early model or just another option? I believe the one I have the piece for goes on the front left side of the tub. Thanks for the pic, I'll keep that setup in mind.

The most common type of interior mount is behind the front seats, as in post #7 above.
I believe there are 2 HCPU type mounts, 110 and 130. The 110 spare sits partially on top of and in front of the wheelwell, whereas the 130 sits behind it on the bed deck. The latter position can also be used on the 110.
Many 3 doors/standard pickups had a well placed inside the wheelbox in front of the rear wheel.
AFAIK, each type uses different mounts.
The factory 110 HCPU mount should be placed directly behind the driver, either RHD or LHD to avoid creating a blind spot.
I've used aftermarket mounts since I never ran across any of the factory ones for the HCPU's.

That makes sense since the 130 bed is shorter than the 110. So the one that @Mirrajumper has is likely the correct mount for my 130?

I am fine with another solution, but like to run a factory type setup when possible.

Some of the pieces shown may match ones you highlighted in the diagram. The pics show a bulkhead mount in a standard truck. Not sure the base shown in black is factory since it doesn't look familiar.
I agree the factory mount is preferable.
