Having problems with apostrophes on iOS 11?

If you're using iOS 11 and noticing that your forum posts contain question marks where you typed an apostrophe ( ' ), that's a feature, not a bug!

Long story short, Apple introduced changes in the latest update that cause this and it's probably affecting you on every forum you use.

If your posts "aren?t" looking like they are supposed to, here's how to fix it:

Settings > General > Keyboard > Smart Punctuation --> OFF

Maybe they'll fix this in a future update but for now, that's the only solution.

It's a feature AND a bug. They are turning straight quotes into smart quotes (and apostrophes too). The problem is that some website or browsers or whatever aren't able to correctly interpret the punctuation the points the correct way. This was a problem when Microsoft introduced this same kind of feature into office back in 2010 or whenever it was. It works great, when it works...
