Think we'll bring around 12 people from RN. Went a couple weeks ago for the first work trip, will be back in May, and then June.

Should be the largest LR event this country has ever had

Never heard of it. What’s driving it to be the largest?

If @Tbaumer and I met up with our two Defenders it’d be the largest LR event this half of OR had ever seen.

The 50th at the same location, had around 340 vehicles (I organized it but don’t recall the exact number off the top of my heads).
It’s the 75th anniversary, and there are a ton more vehicles out there.

Registration hasnt been released yet, but it's likely being capped at around 600 vehicles

The entire resort is reserved for the LR group, and it's a sizable resort

This one is most certainly at the top of my events list. Aside, it's just down the road from my Alma mater and my upstate childhood shenanigans.

Looking to be quite the gathering.

Now I have to look this up. I sure would like to move on from good intensions to actually making one of these events!

As the largest Land Rover clubs in North America (OVLR along with ROAV) have been involved in recreating ANARC to be the governing body to oversee North American Land Rover events. Specifically the Jubilee event at Greek Peak in 2023. Participation at this 75th anniversary of Land Rover, at Greek Peak will definitely be capped for vehicle numbers and people.

As President of OVLR, I have been actively involved in the planning and coordination. Lost of people are involved. More info here 👇🏻

Registration will open shortly.

Is 600 trucks a concern? Ive no idea what the trails are like so just asking.

I think they envision a lot of the vehicles will not be doing trails at all, and then many that'll be doing easy trails.

Personally, after cutting/driving/mapping all the current trails, I think we need 3 times the amount of the current trails to avoid extensive congestion.

The toughest thing to manage is the alignment of the right truck, the right experience and the right trail. Doesn't take many winchless trucks on street tires and no recovery points to ruin half your day.

We(RN) are sponsoring the trail signage. We'll be designing them just like ski slope trails to mimic the mountain signage. They will be green circles, blue squares, black diamond, and double black. To avoid congestion, we have been discussing assigning limits(of trail difficulty) per vehicle pending a vehicle walk around, identified by a sticker on the front windscreen.
