Glued Down Carpet Removal

If Land Rover used the same level of quality for all their parts, like this adhesive... Rovers North will be out of business.

This carpet was glued by Satan... that shit won't strip.

What have you done to successfully remove this material off your truck?

I'm half tempted to use holy water... But I'll piss off a lot of people and probably will burn in hell.:D

Previous owner of one my old 109s had carpeted the entire bed. An old timer recommended using gasoline to remove the glue.. it was messy and it stunk but it was the only thing that worked.

Like to see how you make out.

I used a knife for most of it. I don't think the factory used the same glue because mine was super easy. I only had the material (forget what it is, not carpet) on the back side of the seat box.
