Front Runner Boxes

Do any of you use the various Front Runner cargo boxes inside the Defender? I'm curious at how well they fit in the bed, or along the wheel arch tops in the back of a 110. I don't want to buy something that doesn't fit the dimensions well.

I love my Wolfpack boxes. I typically just stack them in a corner of the bed. Do you want me to test some diff configs?

Well, no matter what you buy you should check our this video where the boxes are subjected to idiotic tests. These crappy boxes failed to protect fragile unpacked items dropped from 2 meters:

I think the wolfpacks sit level (or just below) the wheelbox height in my 109. I put a High-lid on the one in my RRC, which really makes a difference in usable space. I'll have to check the 109 with both lids.

That would be cool. It is hard to know how they fit because of the carpet liner in the back, and the 12.4 inch measurements, unless I can "see" how it would be done.

two cubs fit short side to short side across the load space of a Defender, two cubs stacked are 3" under the capping (rear firewall in a 90 or 3-door) 6 cubs cover the floor space of a 90 and 8 cubs cover the floor space of a 110.

Two wolf boxes fit long side to long side across the load space of a Defender, two wolf boxes stocked are the same height as the capping (standard lids) or same height as the window bottom with tall lids. 4 wolf boxes fill the floor of a 90 or 110, but the 110 will have enough leftover space for two jerry cans and 4" long the sides.

FWIW the wolf/cub boxes are not FrontRunner designs, they are new production of ZA ammo containers - and as such the corners are sacrificial to prevent fall impact from setting off ordinance. I've run a set of 6 and refrigerator as my primary setup for 8 years at this point and other than a couple broken latches they've held up to everything i've thrown at or in them.

All in stock all the time if you want them shipped or to come up for a visit - we get to open this weekend at last!
