This was a fresh Ashcroft 300tdi R380 for a discovery that ran low on oil and is toast.

Runs through all gears surprisingly well but sounds like hell.

Just tranny.
Was a recent Ashcroft rebuild, tranny ran low on oil.

I'll be back home on friday and will check suffix.
It is not a shorty.

They are easy to rebuild if you have the time and a press.
