Agreed. Despite me thinking this looks terrible it will sell in large quantities. The price will probably "start" at $50k for the most basic version. As soon as it's decked out it'll be on par with a Yukon Denali XL. The fact that it should seat seven/eight comfortably means they'll finally have a viable large family vehicle. Just a few too many years late in addition to the same problems the new ones are having according to the internets.

As I think about it, how much do you guys want to bet the middle row is going to be captains chairs and the back seats are for kids only and this is just another episode of Gerry's Sinking And He's Taking The Ship With Him.

good convo. the tahoe/yukon/escalade of this world are hard to find on lots, as they are selling like crazy (at least in the northeast). I would imagine they are a bit bigger as well. Curious as to why Murica might jump ship on those, despite the generic $80k or so price tag. I would think you may pull away Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, and BMW X5 owners first.

I dunno man. Maybe it’s a regional thing. I feel like this would definitely hit well with the Escalade/Denali owners around here. Q7, XC90, X5 types are more cars and no one pretends they’re anything else. This is more truck than car in theory. I still don’t like it over a Land Cruiser/Lexus.

im taking into consideration that it says Land Rover rather than Defender on it. I guess we'll find out...if it even makes it here. Too bad the new LC isnt coming over.

With the base 22 Defender at $48k start… this is likely to be closer to $60k starting point. Premium but sales will be much lower than 110.

Ever since the new Defender came out, it’s amazing to see how many Ford Flex vehicles are on the road.

I’m sure they have the potential of being very popular tow vehicles at your local polo club…

130. JLR made no money on the name for 5 years. They have to make up for lost time. The only boxy model left is the Def. I've found the LR3 to be close to an ideal size for what I do. This is def a step up compared to that or a new 110, should have no prob selling.

I won't bet against that. Welcome to my nightmare.
