definitely going to do this, you went with small D I presume.

Also need to replace my rear rubber because, well, it isn't there...

ordered new door seals and rear hood seal today from Zach, think I will try the D gasket as well.

Can anyone confirm if there are any other striker plates on the hood beside the front striker? I see what appears to be some adjustable feet in the parts diagram for these

Yes 'small D'. I just followed the rivet line with the strip, took 2 min to put on. I did a strip on the front too but not sure that does anything. I had a few extra feet leftover.

Thanks taking notes for when mine clears customs and arrives. Any concern with heat retention with the noise suppression efforts?

Not on a diesel.

You will have way more heat coming up through the floor than dispersing through the engine bay.

I like the clatter as well, it’s just that I like my hearing too.

I’m sure it isn’t accurate for sure, but I’m at a constant 75-80 decibels in the cab.

I've seen mention of soft engine mounts.

Are these direct fit? Is it possible to swap without taking the car apart? How much difference do they make?

I get a buzz saw type of vibration that comes through at higher RPMs that I wonder if I could dampen with the right set up.
