ECR BeachRunner on BAT

A couple paragraphs in and I read "...Black-finished 16″ wheels are mounted with..."

I do a double-take, thinking "huh, I must be looking at the wrong photos."

Nope, just yet another strange BAT-rabbit-hole. What a strange build. Seems questionable to use a 90 NAS as the base when clearly the checkbook had no tourniquet. Presumably saving money by reusing parts doesn't make sense to me when you're trying to command Ferrari money for a "beach runner."

With enough budget, you really can make anything seem sensible.

If he had any actual knowledge or posted something of value that would be one thing but holy crap! 11k posts of D-Source newbie stuff and comments that a socially inept 5 year old would make. Ridiculous.

The complaints about the BR are jokes right? I'd love to see someone 'slap together parts' to make a NAS 110 Soft Top that looks as nice.

Most parts on the truck are new, or at least not from the NAS 90.
The padded roll bar appears to be the one part from the NAS 90 the ECR build cannot do without.
Rare to see such a high sale price with a Rover V8.

Wow. I recall seeing a 110 2dr built by ECR pre BR era, but had all kinds of fishing related stuff added to it. Owner was charged over $250k for the vehicle that he sold as soon as it was delivered through Copley. So this seems like a Bargain.

Listening to wagonboytd mumble his way through on that deadend podcast with his "one hundred percent" comments every other sentence was enough. He either over states the obvious (brings nothing to the auction) or states things that are wild speculation (which again, bring nothing to the auction). I thought I was the only one - LOL...
