discovery five lean codes

my 2017 disovery five with the 3 liter sc gas engine seems to like the check engine light. the last dealer repair was a fuel pump. the code reader at my disposal shows codes p2187 and p2189. the car seems to idle okay and I do not notice any white tail pipe smoke. My local dealer is not a good place for me. I am wondering if these codes would prohibit a 3 hour drive to another dealer. if there is leaking at the valve covers or a leak at the pcv cap would the 3 hour drive make a breakdown likely. I have ext warranty for a few more months. life is with decisions. any one care to comment with these codes and risk of three hour highway drive.

You won’t break down because of that. It’s very likely the PCV diaphragm that has torn

Those are lean codes. Do yourself a favor. Check all the plastic intake hoses for rodent damage and holes…. Easy driveway check and you might find something…
