Damn, I love white One Tens. I still kick myself when I think of two in particular that I let slip through my hands.

Good luck with the sale! I can't lie, I'll be thinking of this one and the possibilities all day.

in fairness it was in as is condition. I can appreciate the work involved as we just did one for a client.

Truck was exactly as expected - priced appropriately for the amount of work required - no qualms about the starting point on this one. But admittedly it has come a long way from what was delivered on the RORO boat.

A new home with a fresh chassis and Tdi swap would make someone a very nice truck.

What ballpark would a fresh chassis and a tdi swap on this truck be in?

$15k - $25k depending on engine, chassis, and what else one would get after while it's apart.

Full 300tdi conversion with 0-mile remanufactured engine and lt230/r380 would include seat box, tunnel cover, bulkhead adaptor, R+L floors, propshafts, exhaust, radiator/intercooler, power steering conversion, etc... With a new chassis you are looking at close to $20k+/- in parts alone.

A used 200tdi with PS conversion could be dropped into existing truck for ~$10K
