Copart NAS

Is it an NAS truck? I don't think it is..

  • Front Fender marker lamp placement is too far back for a '95
  • Passenger side fender has air intake
  • Not an NAS center console/ Radio in the Dash
  • Speakers in the dash
  • Tub doesn't appear to be NAS/corners look like ROW (and if it is they filled the original tail lamp holes and put in ROW light configuration)
  • Though it does have the correct NAS fuel filler position
  • Rear door looks like a cut SW door, not a ST door
  • Cage isn't NAS (look at the connection point at the b pillar area), no b-Pillar trailing supports
  • Full Doors, not ST half doors (though they are an easy swap)

"Estimated Retail Value:$92,337.00 USD"

Uh, not IMHO..

That’s 77/500’s VIN, but it appears to now be a mix of misc parts, body swap, or reassigned to a different vehicle.

Back seat and stepbumper/receiver are NAS.
Not even that. The rear seat is forward facing but it doesn’t look like the NAS seat, and it’s too far back. Also the step bumper isn’t from an NAS 90, it has the rectangular lower support brackets instead of the integrated tubular mounts.

Vin goes to a vehicle that started out life as a Coniston Green Station Wagon.

Its roll cage looks shady. I bet its been wrecked and rebuilt once before.

Rear seat is not an NAS bench (Flares at the top, NAS is straight), cover stich pattern is wrong, and seat belts are not LR either..

Yeah, it's a Bestop Trailmax II and the cage looks custom, or at least customized. The lights are incorrect for a NAS as well.

Plus why would somebody go through the trouble of changing the rear lights to UK/ROW style?

I think it's pretty clearly a case of just taking a NAS VIN and sticking it on something else. You can tell they went cheap on it. Carb'd V8, awful cut half door, etc etc
