Warning: this is the cheap fast easy way I do it. YMMV.
First, I get a 6' long piece of twisted stainless wire. What size? I don't know, 3/32". This used to be a picture hanging thing from Ikea. I never throw anything away, that's why I drive Rovers.
Next, I open the sunroof and look under the fairing thingy for the two obvious holes upfront (they're in there under the pollen).
Next, I slide the wire in until it stops and I spin it. Then I move it back and forth and try to clear any obstructions. Then I pull it out (and here's the secret) while not letting the newly nastified wire touch the headliner.
Repeat on opposite side.
Is it perfect? No. Does my wife complain about water ingress after I do it? No. Pick your variable of success.
