We needed much more cheer this year so hunted Christmas trees early! Got two beauties—a 9’ for by the front and a 16’ for the stairs so we can top from upstairs. Playing Xmas music too! FU 2020! Ain’t gonna keep us down!

What is more COVID than walking 20 feet out into your front yard and firing up the chainsaw and dragging a 15 foot tree in through the garage, rather than going out anyplace? Sometimes simple is best.

"We needed a coffin... Er, a tree. There are no lots open on Christmas Eve. Lewis burned down my tree so I replaced it as best I could"

(too easy)

I miss going up to the National Forest in Colorado with a tree permit to get ours. In Kansas, we went to the city park and cut a red cedar, which are an invasive species and free (and encouraged) for the taking. We’re in Pennsylvania now, so I guess we will go back to the tree farm for ours.
