Bulkhead differences?

So I know a bunch of them NAS110 no vents, NAS have air filter mounts, oval v. around plugs below the windscreen, 93 and 94 NAS have holes for the ECU cable and have ECU mounts etc. but what is different from say a TD5 bulkhead to a 200Tdi bulkhead? I know the mount for the wiper motor (I cut it off). Is the mounting to the tunnel the same? I want to get all prepped before I (or I pay someone to) swap in a bulkhead (TD5 style) into a 92 ROW 200Tdi 110 (this may start this weekend). I don’t mind a tab or hole that needs to be deleted, added or plugged, I am looking for show stoppers (Zach needs to call me so I can order parts).

200tdi was a lt77 vehicle with a very different transmission tunnel to the 300tdi/R380. Both the bulkhead mount and seat box mounts are different. Puma powered vehicles had puma 6 speed gearboxes. With likely yet another variant of the tunnel and seat box connection.

Is the bulkhead itself different, or just the flange that bolts on? What do I have to do to make a TD5 bulkhead fit? This whole non-NAS thing is new to me.

Bulkhead for tunnel adapter are same between lt77/R380. Just adapter is different. Seat box is definitely different although Zack\Rovers North sells an adapter plate for R380 that rivets on (and requires seat box cutting as R380 was wider opening at seat box). Just got kit from him last year.

When you wake up call me back!

I was on a work call, need to pay for these parts ;-) left you a vm (again). Seems like I have what I need and the TD5 one will mostly swap in. I am putting TD5 bulkhead in a 200TDi which is the opposite of what most people do I think and I have all the 200Tdi stuff in good shape, just the one corner of the bulkhead rotted and I don’t want to fix it. I want to get the galvy one out of my garage …. PS Zach had everything but oil filters in stock. Lol. He also said I should get the newer wiper boxes, but I don’t want to take that apart, anyone have any experience? I feel like I can make the old ones work. Otherwise mostly bolt on.

I don't recall the specifics, but I think there's some adaptation required to mix different generations of wiper wheel boxes and bulkheads. Also, I thought only the generic aftermarket were junk, while the OEM or Genuine boxes worked fine.

I tried to sell him the Td5 stuff but he insisted on either gluing or riveting the early stuff in.

Here is a picture of the mat. I have not cut it for the battery hatch or the tool box yet. I may not do either. It does look nice but it is a pain to install

Self tappers, JB weld, actual weld etc. I need to order something when my sticker comes in …. But I think I just need washers on the outside. Let’s be honest, I am going to break them and other things taking them out so ….

I’ve done the TD5 wheel box upgrade— you change the wheel boxes and the gear in the motor as well.

If I have to drill the windscreen frame and fit series II motors I will do so. Now you all make me want to die on this hill. Lol.
