Brand New Injection Pump (cracked flange) - advice needed

Hello all,

I have a brand new injection pump from Rovers North. Purchased last month for $1500. Unfortunately, I cracked the flange on the pump body. ALL the rest of the parts and internals, including seals, are fine. But it now leaks at the front end. I can not return to Rover's North.

Does anyone know a direct source that would buy this pump back? I'm sure at a discount. Or want the pump for parts?

Thanks,

Craig

Man that sucks. Dare I ask how it happened?
Yeah, it sucks. Hard lesson to learn. After installing the pump, I was setting the timing on the exposed crank case pulleys. I inserted the pin on the injection pump and forgot to remove it on the “rotate the crank shaft twice” to make sure all the teeth on the belt match up properly. It honestly didn’t take much to crack that cast metal as I had a large breaker ratchet rotating the 27mm socket on the crank pulley. Sheesh.

Again, pump flange is just cracked/broken off and that exposed the front o ring which obviously allows for leakage. The integrity of all the parts are still in perfect condition (brand new).
