awning - NE USA

Looking for an inexpensive/generic awning to mount on my rack and try out before I decide how much I'll actually use it and then start the search for something obviously overkill like a batwing, etc.

Anybody have an awning collecting dust you'd like to sell me? Tractor supply has one I might get if this doesn't work out.

I can't help with a spare awning, but ... a couple months ago, my son (9) asked me about my favorite truck accessory. I thought the answer was easy, in that very time we go out on the trail, camping etc., the first thing I pack is my GB small forest axe. He pointed out that an axe is not a truck accessory, but a tool. He then clarified his question about stuff that is always installed on or carried in the truck. The final answer was the awning. I never understood how nice portable shade could be. It was worth the $ on trip 1 and now, it is easily the best bang for the buck accessory. We have enjoyed having the ARB 2500 for 3 years or so. I've thought about a 270, but the ARB is still working well for us, particularly with the awning room on buggy days.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep working locally. My issue is currently that I have a 1 year old so camping/overlanding is more sparse than I'd like...
