As some of you may have read in my LT230 thread I'm looking to sleeve my t-box case. Not many machinist left in NOVA and the 2 I called are either not interested or not able to mill the case. Does anyone know of a good machine shop in the area? I would attempt to do this myself with my shapeoko but I don't have enough z travel to accommodate the box.

I just used C&C Auto Performance in Manassas. The job was just to resurface a flywheel and cut some threads but they were quick and the work was nice. I found them through a reference because as you say, there‘s not really anyone around who advertises.

I'd try Hi tec transmissions on lee highway in fairfax, or the machine shop connected to Napa down the street.

The machine shop has done 50+ flywheels for a buddy of mine.

Will ring Hi tech.

I tried the machine shop below Napa but they don’t have a mill
