Alpine bar??

It just slides into place doesn't it? Fibreglass hard top going on for the winter?

Yeah, I've got the hardtop so I've figgered I'd live the dream.
Instructions say to remove the alpine bar although I'm not sure it interferes.
This truck had a FGHT on before and I'm pretty sure this bar had never been removed.
Soaked some Kroil for 30 minutes, whacked with rubber mallet and got one side out. The other side just took a little more rotational wiggling and it too was free.
It will be interesting to drive without the flapping and slightly less cabin wind...

Don?t get your hopes up too high. I hated my fght and it tore into the rubber on my b pillar.

Almost too tight for the garage....
I actually trimmed some of the top so it fits looser against the rubber of the rollcage(this FGHT already had cracks and a few small chunks missing so I dint feel too bad)

OK, let's have some suggestions for the FGHT upper tailgate weather seal.
It's NLA.
I dont have an old one to look at but it was probably similar to other LR, maybe even like the RRC.
I'm wondering if some kind of adhesive style weather strip from Amazon would work.
I just need to get it thick enough to seal.
