I use them a lot. they're not a magic bullet but do a great job while I'm off doing something else.

What do you generally use for solvent?

Detergents like Simple Green or Purple Power are much safer than hot solvents. If I need solvent I put it in a jar and then place it in whatever liquid is in the ultrasonic at the time.
