Hoping someone can help me with weird Egt fueling issues!

Have a 94 Disco swapped with a 300tdi from a 95 defender and zf trans.
Recently egts have been slow to drop when idle only sometimes? Have a foruby boost pin installed, smoke screw turned out a lot as I previous thought the guide pin was sticking open. Quick run around town egts up to 400c ish but take a long time to drop below 200c only sometimes? But will drop fast to like 170c other times? Coolent temp never goes above 190-195 at most with the e fan set at 195

I defiantly feel like it is under fueled, super slow up hills and have only reach about 570c max foot flat to the floor. Recently put new air filter in and checked snorkel for restrictions but doenst have any effect. Also have ordered new Bosch injectors as the set in it on its way out. Pls help!

I was driving across country and gradually losing power. I thought for sure that my fuel filter was getting clogged from filling up at high flow pumps in middle America. Turns out my throttle cable was just loosening as I was driving

Heading downhill/no load, it should cool off, but under load/Highway cruising, I would expect 550-600ishC. I run at elevation and hammering it uphill, I ease off at 700C. This all presumes pre-turbo measurement. Post turbo has lower temps. You might want to consider dialing everything back to stock and then working from there.

it’s dialed way back with just boost pin foot flat gage only reached 570. Just don’t understand why egts don’t drop fast at idle
