300 TDI wiring harness

I am actually not in need of the entire harness. Just the plug that goes to the engine harness. If anyone has a trashed harness they would be willing to cut the end off of, that would be great. I believe that section of a 200 TDi harness is the same.

I have modified the 2.5 na or 19j engine harness to work with the 300. Usually just the temp sensor and alternator ends. Easier than the main plug

There's an Genuine adapter harness to cleanly convert the 2.5 NA harness to the 300 Tdi. Safari HP is where mine came from. Defenders NW may have them, too. Brian should have the P/N.

I was thinking of the same Doug. It's not like there is anything there. I jerked the entire thing off and threw it in the corner to rebuild first thing when I started stripping the engine.
I was not aware that there was a Genuine adapter. I will think on that as well. I am replacing all gauges when I install , so, I may just build the harness.

I hate those. They are always sticky too. That black goo never comes off.

Didn't think it merited another thread. Anyone know the part number of this clip? I can't seem to find it anywhere and I don't know what it is called, so haven't managed to stumble across it with a Google search either.

If it is the plastic connector you can find them on the Discovery harness. It is pretty easy to take the pins out to re-do it. You can find the pins on Ebay UK.

Thanks, already recieved a bag of 10 on from my last Craddocks order. Hopefully that will last me for a while. I just could not find that part number the night I was looking.

I took Daves advivce as well. I just built the harness using the 2.5 bulkhead plug. Worked like a champ.
