300 TDI Chinese Injectors and IP's

Anybody ever use those Chinese Injectors or IP's I see on ebay and amazon from time to time? Im sure they're crap, but wondering if anyone has any first hand experience. They are stupid cheap..some less than $100 for a full set. In my experience that Chinese stuff is throw away, buy a UK seller snookered me with some semantics in his listing and sent me a Chinese knock off turbo instead of the real thing. Its sitting on the shelf and Ill likely never use, but appears to be pretty decent quality.

Never used that brand. But if you follow the ford ranger logic- you can source known brand versions for less than $200. Which is still a good gamble, as long as you use factory cooper sealing rings for the return line and cylinder head install.

FYI:

Ford produced a 2.5 liter gas engine (Lima) for the Ford Ranger. God I hope they don't mix up gas and diesel parts.

There is a diesel ranger in their line up on your favorite browser. Hope that you give it a try, it certainly saves $$ over the alternatives. Good luck!

Just bought a set. Less than $100 for 4 injectors and free shipping. Im planning to pull mine and send them off for testing and rebuild if necessary. In the meantime I'll install these and see ho well they work and how long they last. I have a hunch that they will be just fine but I am excited to see..

Mike at BritRest did some testing on a Chinese set and they were all over the place. Obviously a small sample size though. Good luck.

They're easy to swap, so you might consider giving them a shot anyway. If you happen to get a good set then you could keep them as a backup.
