One is from a 1995 RR Classic...
One is from a 1978 SIII...
One is from a...I don't remember. 1990 D90? 1998 D1? 1986 LM002?

WYSIWYG. I noticed that one of them (the last 2 pics) is missing 2 of the metal clips that secure the base to the top.

$40+ ride/ea. Looks like they weigh around 7lbs. each, and would fit in a 13x9x7 box.

"1986 LM002"

Now *there* is a classic vehicle. Why in the world did Lambo not re-make this instead of the Urus for their fast SUV.

Modern regs and manufacturing tech wouldn't allow anything like the LM002 to be produced again. Even tho it's a high performance exotic, it's relatively crude and rude, based on a military prototype. Also it's very much biased in design to be used off pavement, and that's a pretty small market. For most SUV's, off road means the mall parking lot. Huge tires and long travel independent suspension is great for desert racing but overkill for the average rush hour.
Local Motors Rally Fighters were built one at a time.
ProDrive is building a mega-rally awd sports car. Prob the closest thing to an LM002 today, but all sport and no utility.

I've always thought of the LM002 (as actually sold, not the Saudi military prototype) as a kind of souped-up Humvee.

And now, thanks to the OP who's thread we have mercilessly hijacked, we have the chance to own a *potentially genuine* LM002 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY!

I don’t mind the thread hijack- I just wish there was the possibility that I had more LM002 parts lying around. Not going to happen…

The military protos were developed at the same time to meet requirements for the gov contract. Once AMG won, Lambo redesigned theirs for the V12 and went up market. They initially were built with the same parameters and the similarity you note is real.
