28 x 40 Garage Build...WWYD

hmm....lots about air. I do not paint, as I have access to a buddy that does..What else is everyone using air for? I am happy to hard pipe it in, but not sure I even need it at this point since I am all in team red power tools.
I will have electric everywhere...so no shortage of that.

Bigger air appliances: Tire machine, plasma cutter, sand blaster, some lifts (my old 4post had air unlock). I just spent a silly amount of time installing air lines in the 'new' shop, so if there is a chance down the road, run lines now. Once the shop is full, it's 10x slower/miserable.

Rapid Air product used. Ton of blow outs from not tightening fittings enough, ya really gotta crank em down!

Plumb and wire for overhead air hose and extension cord reels-the more the better except that the reels get expensive.

I can't bring myself to buy any electric hand tools either. I've had my Snap-on air ratchet for 40+ years and I bought it used!

Leave air compressor outside and use 20' or more 1" copper before entering the shop as an aftercooler.

Plumb the air intake from inside the shop (if shop is heated/cooled/dehumidified) to keep the moisture down during extended blaster use. If you do this the intake should be baffled to reduce noise.

Hot water hose bib (supplied by tankless water heater) to supply pressure washer. Mine puts out up to 173° water. Plumbing needs to be sized for nearly zero frictional loss to prevent pressure washer pump starvation each time the wand is activated. Such condition eventually destroys the ceramic parts inside the pump. I've finally figured this out after rebuilding my pump twice.
