Could just be photos of a current model refresh. After all, the photo album features two different cars (two different license plates, two different back doors) being suggested as one.
Left rear and side blinkers don?t flash. However my relay flashes at a normal speed, so it thinks (I assume) it?s encountering the correct amount of resistance. But the bulbs don?t flash (visual inspection says they?re good), so am I deducing correctly that something else is causing this...
I hesitate to suggest this since it's so dumb but I once had the same problem...turned out to be that I had switched the two fuel filter rubber gaskets. One is slightly smaller than the other and plugged up the filter. However, this was a non-spin-on filter for a diesel, not sure if your V8...
Square tubing rack that came with my 110.
Structurally solid, needs some cosmetic TLC. Some surface rust under paint, but nothing that's compromising structural integrity. Includes 7 gutter clamps (5 missing). Some rust on light housings and mounts.
All four lights work and are included...
My A127 45-amp alternator died. It has two wires to the big post and a small spade connection. If I replace it with a 65-amp alt, does the small spade wire get a new connector and go to the small post? I'm referencing the images here: http://www.rovahfarm.com/defenderignition.htm
Or, am I...
Another note to note for anyone considering these: the way in which the units mount to the dash prevents the passenger window crank from cranking. It's a "feature" that keeps the cold air inside.
One could. There's about 2-1/8" of space 13-3/4" across, so the 2-1/16" VDO gauges would fit perfectly. Not sure how much driver side air flow would be restricted though.
Air flow is good-not-great for the RHD driver side. It does the job in keeping the cabin comfortable in Gulf Coast heat/humidity. I have the driver side vent pointed right at my face/chest and it keeps me plenty cool.
Got everything on and buttoned up. The issue was that my axles were too far apart by a quarter inch or so. I was able to get everything put back together using Adam's tip plus some ratchet straps to bring the front axle back towards the rear. Amazing how much smoother the truck rides after...
I figured it shouldn't be that hard either. The difficulty I'm having is primarily with the chassis end. The threaded end goes in fine, but due to its entry angle it prevents me from putting the rear bush in and getting the bolt on even to the first thread. It's almost like it needs to go...
I've replaced the bushes on my radius arms and am now attempting to reinstall the arms. I'm having a bugger of a time getting these things on. I've managed getting the middle bolt on, but can't seem to jack the axle around to get the other holes aligned. Any tips?
