    Fuel sedimenters

I think I have this problem solved well enough. Unfortunately, my truck got a short in the engine harness and the fuel solenoid cutoff wire burned up. Now I'm wondering if this was part of my problem all along--if the circuit was intermittently shorting out and cutting fuel.

    Brake indicator dashboard light

I replaced the proportioning valve on my truck recently. I connected all the pipes to the valve, bled the entire system, and reconnected the harness to the brake fluid sensor (I guess that's what it's called?) on the new valve. Now the brake indicator lamp in the binnacle is on (solid). If I...

    Fuel sedimenters

I ended up getting a factory sedimenter, part WJN500180. I still don't have factory pipes on my truck. I have plastic 300Tdi fuel lines coming back from the lift pump up front. These are cut off and diesel hose is hose-clamped over them. The fuel line runs to a fitting on the tank that was...

Frame mounted by the tank or in the engine compartment?

    Fuel sedimenters

Yep, that's the one I ordered. I just looked at the parts manual and this bracket is the one I have. I think NRC9708 should fit just fine. I wonder why I didn't go with the stock part in the first place. I remember the first one I ordered from Robert had a glass bowl, which was cool...

    Fuel sedimenters

I ended up ordering this one: https://lucky8llc.com/products/fuel-filter-brkt-diesel-2-5l?_pos=1&_sid=d0415aadd&_ss=r The RDavis one I have has some sort of bracket that attaches to the angled piece coming off of the frame that supports (I think) the tub. I think this is a stock part and that...

    Fuel sedimenters

Does anybody know who might have manufactured these sedimenters that Robert Davis sold? The gaskets in mine are crumbling. If they are some common off-the-shelf thing, it would be nice to just replace the gaskets instead of junking the whole thing.

    Fuel sedimenters

A couple of questions: What's the center-to-center measurement between the mounting bolts (the ones that attach it to the truck)? Are those inlets threaded into 1/4" NPT? Can the barbs be positioned to different angles to match the plumbing needs of my truck?

    Fuel sedimenters

These are nice options but I have a filter+water separator in the engine compartment already. What I'm looking to replace is a pure sedimenter (no filter) that I have mounted just forward of the fuel tank output. I have this right before my 12V fuel pump to capture all of the rust and crap...

    Fuel sedimenters

Does anybody have a diesel fuel sedimenter that they like? I have one that I bought from Robert Davis ages ago but the gaskets finally gave out and now it's sucking in air. I can probably source some new Viton gaskets but it might just be cheaper to buy a complete unit.

    Hacked! Beware of scam sales!

I've seen several complaints of peoples' NAS-ROW accounts being hacked and used to solicit sales from other members. The bad guy breaks into a well-known forums account, then reaches out to individuals looking for parts and offers to deliver a product at an unbelievable price. They take...
