Critique is one thing. Using inside jokes and speaking about someone as if they are not "in the room" is another. Especially if you want additional participation. I'm open for criticism, but relating what I am doing to someone who is a laughing stock was not appreciated.

How is what I am trying to do any different than mounting a MudUK center console or a IronGoat center console? I guess this is the part where I take my toys and go play somewhere else.

Here's the final result. I ended up getting a center cubby from Scosche for a Honda Accord and it fit perfectly into the opening, with some added wings to cover the rounded/tapered ends. I am pretty pleased, although I will most likely sand and paint the cubby to clean it up a little.

I like to rotate parts, not hoard them. Although I do have a bin for "not worth enough to sell, but too valuable to throw away" parts. And one for "I may need that (or part of that) someday" parts. And one for "maybe I can use that on my next project" parts.

Calling them works, sure. But I feel that doing anonymous purchases online supports my addiction much better. I'm afraid that if I actually have to speak to someone when ordering parts they will say "didn't you just call here yesterday ordering a bunch of stuff?" and "you really need to get...

My guess is that they will still use the forums and ebay to download/promote some of their products. I have one of their dash cowls and it is awesome!

Pedro, I have a stock suspension currently, with 285/75 tires. I have a 2" TF Heavy Duty lift kit that I will be installing (hopefully) shortly. The rear corner protectors are from TerraFirma, although they have the "M" logo cut into the area above the holes, as you said.

I think you have two options if you want to be "correct". See the pics. If I recall, my '84 110 I had came with the badge without the "Station Wagon" below. Although you could go with the modern ones that say Defender somewhere on them, although technically the '84 was just called a "110".

More than that, I don't see anywhere to buy parts. Must be only eBay now?
