LS / Puma Equipped Rolling Chassis (Anyone Interested)

We are toying with providing LS Equipped Rolling Chassis with a complete and installed Puma Firewall. Working on the numbers now and will only do New no used stuff.


  • Galvanized Chassis
  • New Crate LS Motor
  • New 4L80
  • Rebuilt Transfer Case
  • Front Floor and Tunnel Cover
  • Auto / Transfer case Shifter
  • Ashcroft Console
  • Seat Box
  • Cooling System (heater pipes etc)
  • Refurb Axles w HD Shafts, CVs Etc
  • New Tom Woods Drive Shafts
  • New Brakes (to include stainless lines, calipers, etc)
  • New Fuel System (including plastic tank)
  • New Bushings
  • New PS Box
  • New Complete and Functioning Puma Firewall with AC
  • Front and Rear Anti Sway Bars
  • Wheels / Tires (of choice)
  • OME Springs / Shocks / Stabilizer
  • Exhaust
  • Wiper System
  • Complete Chassis and Wing Looms
  • Under Tub Support (Puma or NAS)
  • PS Steering System
We are working out the Bill of Materials and Pricing now. The kit would not be cheap but would be done properly and allow the home builder to install the body and drive away.



Build time would be six months



Firewall would be painted the color of choice (along with the paint mix codes)

Interesting. Chris I assume you just take your legal donor and swap parts over. You would loose the vin in the frame but otherwise no different then frame swap and that motor is 50 state legal. So basically continue with your original vin and title

Shame, the 6spd trans is just as worthwhile of an upgrade as the LS is on its own in my opinion.

Currently Chevy does not support the six speed as far as warranty so we choose the 4 speed plus it matches the Land Rover Shifter. We're doing 3 six speeds now so we're looking for a shifter solution that is marked as a six speed as we can't install a six speed box and a 4 speed marked shifter and smile about it.

I have an installation kit for the Land Rover shifter on the 6L80. The 6L80 only has 4 usable forward gear detents anyway. So 4-speed shifter work on this transmission.
