I have not been camping since early spring, and may not get a chance this summer, but the Rover is still running, my kids are swinging in the trees, chicken is on the open fire, and the whiskey ain?t bad. So my back yard will have to do till I get the chance to do it for real. I guess life is pretty good.

I also have to say, I have a Traeger, a charcoal grill, and a gas grill. Open fire cooking with cedar and alder is easily the best. I've pretty much shut down the other grills for this, this summer. Those bone-in breasts cooked for an hour with a lid to gather the smoke, they were perfect, and so juicy you could hardly keep it from pouring all over the place.
