Xeng - Xbrake Defender Course Adjustment

I am deep into a number of ?while I have that in pieces? jobs on my Defender. I just installed an X-brake. The directions detail a course adjustment to deal with the varying lengths of available cables.

It appears X-Eng have replaced the nut and locking tab with a torx fastener. I assume the course adjustment is still possible by simply loosening the torx screw? I am nervous that there is no way to manually lock the torx with a locking tab; the instructions stress in bold print to properly lock the previous models nut.

Anyone completed the adjustment?
