Wheel leak

Finally took some time off work and get out to the lake then I notice oil around my rear wheel.
When I recently renewed my brakes and seals, I replaced only the front bearings, seals and hub caps, but since I had already done the brake pads & drums on the rear I decided to wait on the rear bearings and seals. Murphy's Law.
Question: Is this "oil" just grease from my bearings that is getting past bad seals?

Diff fluid most likely. Pull you axle breather and make sure the banjo is clean and blow out the line. That will fix you up most likely. There is no real seal between the diff fluid and outdoors on the rear axle. Just the dust cap. Mine puked out a load last week. I assume something had clogged my breather tube. Couple of minutes with the compressor fixes it right up usually.

I would replace the hubcap/dust cover. Yours is pretty knackered.

Finally got a minute to clean out the breather. It wouldn't just blow out with compressed air until I soaked it for a bit.
The banjo was so plugged I had to run a drill bit through it.
Cleaned my wheel, replaced my hub cap and made the same drive that I discovered the problem on - No leaks.

Awesome, glad it was that easy. They tend to not be a perfectly dry setup anyway. They weep a bit. But, usually the dumping fluid is from the breather.
