Webasto wiring

I have the thermotop C and need to wire it. It was using some remote start with a cheap remote. Cool feature but something happened with the install of the new motor and it sucks the life out of my battery. Looking to install either an on/off switch or a Webasto timer and see if I can get the thing running correctly and then maybe go back and sort the remote start.

I ordered this harness and most of it makes sense. The question I have is this: there is the brown/red that connect to the battery and then there is another black/red pair that are a bigger gauge and I'm not sure where they go.

I've done a couple of these installs but they've both been Eberspächers, which are the same but different. My recommendation would be to look at Sprinter and van conversion fora - they have a lot more people troubleshooting these units than we do here.
