Wanted: Door latch spacers

So I got really close to finishing the install of my doors when I realized that my latches weren't fitting correctly in the doors. It appears that I need a thicker spacer here to put the latch assembly further back in the latch well:

I fastened up the new latches only to discover that I'd smashed and scraped up the rubber on my new handles because they're sitting too proud of the door and scraping against the outer door skin. Damn.

Can somebody square me away with the correct parts? Need these for P/S and D/S.

No spacer needed. Bend the handle in a bit and you will be good to go.

Ha, thanks Dave, that did the trick.

In other news, for the first time since I've owned the truck, I have nice, new, non-rusted doors that stay shut. (Thanks to Defenders NW for the parts)

If you dont want to bend the handle out of OE spec, I think EE sells a complete layered spacing kit machined out of virgin organic unoxidized aluminium.
