Terrafirma quality??

Hey guys,

I've been out of the Defender world for a few years but I am about to be "back in"!

I have already noticed that a lot of the players I remember have changed, and there seems to be many more options available as well, which I suppose is a good thing.

Curious for any feedback on the build quality and strength of the Terrafirma products. They seem to be well priced but if they won't handle the abuse I may have planned I may look elsewhere.

Thanks!
Greg

Depends on the item - we are a TF retailer and see the good bits go out and the bad bits that come back. Some of the budget items (low cost suspension kits come to mind) are just branded off the shelf items from Asian suppliers. The bulk of the Defender catalog we've had very good expereinces with - most of the parts are supplier sourced, but are collaboratively designed with improvements. The stamped and cut metal bits are a good value and have held up well. The better suspension components have also held up well in use. More specialized goods are usually just TF branded packing from mainline suppliers (polybush)

Thanks for the input.

I should add that I am specifically (initially) looking at the tube winch bumper, rear bumperettes, steering skid plate, and rock sliders

I have TF sliders on my 110 with zero complaints regarding fit and finish. I would buy them again if need be.
